Ltd. Ed. Brynwood Fairy Steed Corgi Pincushion, Corgi Pincushion, Wool Flower Pincushion, Wool Needlekeep, Lavender Sachet, Cold or Hot Pack

Everyone should have pretty things in their sewing space. Whether you're a needleworker, seamstress (sewing enthusiast), quilter, or even if you need a place to park diaper pins, this is a pretty pincushion just for you. This one will especially appeal to Corgi and all dog lovers. You could also use this beautiful pincushion to display favorite brooches or jewelry pieces.

You don't sew? That's okay. If you prefer, I can fill yours with either lavender buds (to use as a sachet), or rice (so it becomes a hot/cold pack). Just specify your choice when you purchase it.

***I will only be making a limited number of these pincushions, and they are made as ordered. Allow 10 days for shipping of your order.

Created by me from my own design, using high quality felted and hand dyed wools. It's my goal is to make something pretty and useful that will last for generations.

This pincushion is my newest favorite! Featuring the favored steed of the fairies, I've appliqued' a Corgi as the center of this pincushion. Of course, the fairies would dress their beloved Corgis with collars of beautiful flowers - these are hollyhock blossoms. Each blossom and leaf is formed and hand stitched by me. I finished this work with embroidered tendrils of pearl cottons.

The pincushion can be filled with 2 - 2 1/2 cups of crushed walnut shells to keep your pins nice and sharp. The weight of the walnut shells also keeps your pincushion from sliding around on your table. As mentioned above, rice and lavender buds are also options for filling.

It measures approximately 8" long by 4 1/2" wide, and due to the nature of handmade, is a true one-of-a-kind creation. No two pincushions will have the exact same flourish embroideries.
